Creating Your Brand
When creating your brand, you want to first begin with a name. Finding a name that speaks to your soul is key to loving your brand. Don't pick a catchy name or a trendy name because trends die. Brainstorm for words and phrases that mean something to you. Jot them down on a piece of paper then start pairing them up with one another.
Your mission statement is next. How do you want people to view your brand? What is your goal and your vision? This is where your mission statement comes in. You need one that speaks volumes in few words. Your mission statement doesn't need to be several sentences long, 1 to 2 sentences is plenty. Just be sure your mission statement makes an impact in few words.
Your audience is your lifeline. Who will your target audience be? This is key to creating your social media voice. You want to speak in a language that they can relate to. If your audience is stay at home moms, then you need topics that relate to them.
Your voice must always remain true to you. Keep your voice authentic, keep it real, and keep it all you. Never change who you are to match someone you feel you need to be online. That will never work and you will not have success. Just be you.
